| Shipping Weight |
All courier companies including Australia Post do not charge the parcel by the actual weight only.
They also measure it by the cubic size or its dead weight (or whichever is more).
Cubic weight is calculated by measuring and multiplying the length, height and width of the parcel. The result is then multiplied by the industry standard cubic weight conversion factor of 250.
For Example: parcel measuring 50cm long (0.5m) x 30cm high (0.3m) and x 40cm wide (0.4m) is equal to 0.06 cubic meter. Multiplied by the conversion factor of 250 gives, therefore, a cubic weight of 15kg. 0.5 x 0.3 x 0.4 = 0.06 x 250 = 15kg If the actual weight is 10kg, postage would then be assessed on the basis of 15kg.
Almost all products in the computer industry have a higher cubic weight rather than dead weight.

| Are my goods insured when they ship? |

|
| Receiving Damaged/Defective Items. Does DigitalYes.com.au pay for the return shipping of defective items? |
It is unfortunate when an item is received defective. However, DigitalYes.com.au is not responsible for manufacturer defects; We are not manufacturers. We do understand that this is frustrating to our customers so we have agreed to split the shipping costs with our customers. The customer pays for shipping to DigitalYes.com.au and DigitalYes.com.au will pay for the shipping of the replacement order back to you.
|
| Packaging. Why was my order sent in multiple boxes when it could have all fit in one? |
DigitalYes.com.au packages the items according to safety for your items, weight, and size. The most common reason multiple boxes are used is due to multiple warehouse locations. Obviously if the items are stocked in different warehouses then they cannot be boxed together.
